The day you left,my world was in slow motion,but time raced by, i wondered now would this be goodbye?
i wanted to tell you but i couldn't.we spent our last moments together laughing,trying to hide the pain.
i was so lost and confused , not knowing what to do.
i couldn't cry, i could barley move.
the moment i knew time was up, with you my body froze, my throat strained and my heart stopped.
we walked our last steps, when we stopped you said ill miss you, i tried to reply but there i stood paralyzed.
you asked me not to cry, i wanted to stop, but it was no use. i felt your arms around me, i put mine around you too. "please don't go" was all i could say but we both know you had to then you whispered goodbye and there you walked, i watched you leave and fade from my life and finally what i was trying to say came out..." i love you" but it was already too late.
