The Artist

by Sammib   Apr 3, 2013

Remembering the moment of impacted artists flair
Colours had been changed igniting unfamiliar delight
Sadly it was fleeting and it faded into memories lost
Even in this painful moment, it's left an everlasting mark

Many times the wind blew and familiar colours returned
Deepest of breathes were taken, not wanting to exhale
Rain would arrive gently falling on each and every sense
Nothing could match the array of colours appearing at the end.

Walking slowly as dancing sand would leap and oceans meet
Waves would listened with ebb and flow desiring to be known
Brightest sunlight losing fight to the darkest jealous moon
The earth heaving sighs of relief in agreement it was meant.

Songs were whispered among powerfully rooted trees
Leading seeds to understand what are the colours of love
Beautiful artist, who now feels ripped from my soul
Painted master piece on master piece, he didn't even know.
