Cruel love in the spiderweb.

by Ole Carsten   Apr 17, 2013

The small teenager felt the hormones,
Pounding his brain cortex,
Even aware of the danger it was irresistible,
Spreading it gen until million of spiders.

The first step was hard eight legs,
To control on a narrow path,
Looking out for the glue spread out,
To catch the one who dared.

The next steps was faster,
He got a good grip of the walking now,
The speed was faster he run,
Almost now vibration in the thin wire.

He knew by instinct survival chance was low,
Even then he ran faster and faster,
The vibration was stopped,
I will be the first one in and hopefully out.

He jumped behind the chosen female spider,
Climbed on her beautiful back,
Made love and spread his gen,
He lowered his guards for a split second.

He stumbled backwards only one wrong step,
Then he was caught, knowing
He made it, it will be his gen spreading,
Even he died in that split second.
