Shadow of loneliness

by Rozalina Reyes   May 2, 2013

The pressure of this fear is building,
The dam's cracks are deepening.
I have to hold steady the burden,
Hold the flood back to divert devastation.

Without your presence and
Without seeing your smile,
It gets harder and harder to keep my self together.
It becomes quick devastation.

Yet you want me to hold up against this...
Shadow of loneliness

I miss the warmth of your kisses
Your sweet endless whispers!
You held me in the dark
And in the light, warm embraces!

My racing heart is empty
Of blood and soul completely.
I'm sick with death apart from you,
I want you in my arms.

Yet you want me to hold up against this...
Shadow of Loneliness

I miss the warmth of your kisses
Your sweet endless Whispers!
You held me in the dark
And in the light, warm embraces!

You want me to hold up against this...
Shadow of loneliness

I miss the warmth of your kisses
Your sweet endless whispers!
You held me in the dark
And in the light, warm embraces!

I try to quicken my pace
And run to you and take my place,
To be with you forever
Oh! But there is such a shadow in the way!

I wish to be near you again,
To hear you're heart racing,
To feel the heat from your passion
And to feel the pull from your love's hunger.

But you want me to hold up against this...
Shadow of loneliness

Oh!!! I miss the warmth of your kisses
Your sweet endless whispers!
You held me in the dark
And in the light, warm embraces!!
