Everyday.

by Joshualee Finch   Jun 4, 2013

The sun raises,
Lust is extracted.
Flames of passion, faith and
Love are absorbed.
The words that exit your lips
Are like solid gold.
I can't let you go.

As the day ends,
You have to say goodbye.
You may not know it,
But it hurts inside.
I hardly see you,
But yet you're close to my heart.
I love you more than ever,
I can't let you go.

As the next day cycles,
Yet we don't meet.
My love becomes flat.
My heart is bereft of life,
I can't live on.
As I still love you,
I can't let you go.

As yet again,
I don't see your face.
This fear of lost is upon.
You feel for someone new.
What do I do?
I'm scared, I'm going to lose you.
I see what is going to happen.
I've been hurt like this before,
Do I stay or do I go?

As yet you scream and shout,
I have the fear of you running.
You don't care anymore,
Neither does all.
I drown myself to sleep,
Thinking of all the things you could be doing.
You pass on your poison to another,
As I die slowly from your venom.
I thank you, as I've learnt
To not love again.
As I let you go.
