Forever I want

by BeautifulSavage   Jun 19, 2013

Every time I hear that smile in your beautiful voice,
It makes my heart smile, beat and rejoice.
I miss those times when there was always laughter,
When I didn't have to worry about the turn of an unwritten chapter.
It used to be so simple and carefree
I used to have to catch my breathe when I needed to breathe.
Now those times have fallen apart,
Those times when there was nothing but laughter in our hearts.
Now all of that has been torn away
Because all you want to do is push me far, far away
I hate that when we talk and it turns into a fight,
All I see is darkness to what used to be so bright.
You think it doesn't bother me, but you're too blind to see
It kills me every day, knowing we gave up and walked away.
It's like we've reached a point that now can't be undone,
It makes me want to scream and run
I hope one day we can sew this back up together
That this point never reaches again to where we tear down each other
In my dreams your face haunts,
Because this love, I will forever want.
