The Fading King

by MrMohawkNL   Jul 2, 2013

A king is crying on his throne
He had a queen but now she's gone
Slowly he's fading into oblivion
Starting to lose all hope
Because what can there be left
After she's ripped from life
The one he cant live without
Holding on for the sake of living
Is a fate worse than death
Taking his life seems cowardly
So he sits there, in silence
Waiting for death to take him
To reunite him with his muse

Sweet in a different way. The title fits very well.
