Feelings Unreal.

It truly sucks to see how much you don't care,
To see how much you're not really there.
It hurts to feel like I failed like this,
To feel like there's something I'll always miss.

I'm sorry heart for continuing to forgive,
I'm sorry God for forgetting to live,
I'm sorry mind for not being able to forget,
I'm sorry I'm just your regret.

I can't keep holding on this way,
I only wish you would stay.
It hurts that you hurt so much,
I only wish I could feel your touch.

Nothing matters at all anymore,
This is the day my heart just tore.
To say goodbye to my baby's dad,
It must be a guy thing, the latest fad.

To walk away from the best thing that could be,
Even if it's something you can't yet see,
To walk away for love that's real,
I wish I didn't make such a big deal.

    I love this poem because I sympathize with it and know the basis of the situation. But I do think if you had taken the second stanza and spread each line throughout the piece it would have a bit better of a flow. (By this I am trying to say that the first line of the second stanza and use it to end your first. Second line to end the third. Third to the fourth. Ect, then omit the second all together. ) I only say this because the repetition of I'm sorry all at once seemed to make the piece slightly less appealing. Still a beautiful piece without the suggestion though.

    I love the subtle rhymes and the voice and heart.
