Is a blind man deaf to loves call
does the mute see love at all,
Can the deaf speak in kind, if so
i am deaf,dumb and blind.

I let my love slip away from me
I was so blind i could not see, that
her heart was for another and no
more to be my lover.

Words she spoke of a love that yearned
i did not repeat even though it burned,
deep within my troubled soul and as the
dumbstruck said no words at all.

Her troubled heart called out to me
and as the blindman i could not see
nor comfort her when her heart broke
and as the dumb no words were spoke
And eventually when she shed her last
tear i didn't see, speak or hear.......
