Conway

by sun spots   Aug 22, 2013

I had no plan to ask you,
it was just a weekend away.
I booked the b&b,
and we arrived in Conway the next day.
It was a perfect setting,
the sun shone down on us.
And as we walked the coastal path,
i thought I've waited long enough.
I stopped and turned to face you,
and asked you to marry me.
With a smile on your face you said yes,
you know how to make me happy.
That evening back at the b&b
was an evening of pleasure.
I have never loved a woman,
as much as i love you.
Even after thirty years,
I am still madly in love with you.

      Thank you.

We are getting married in August, a dream come true for us both.
