I sit back and look at yesterday,
Wondering where we went wrong today.
There once was a time that we were in love,
And you and I fit together like a glove.
Time went on and we slipped apart,
Without trying we managed to break each other's heart.
Pain was what we caused each other,
You accused me of finding another.
You told me I had cheated on you,
I swear that is something I never did do.
You listened to what others had to say,
Instead of hearing my part in the play.

But in turn all we did was make each other blue.
