THOUGHTS OF YOU

In the still of the night
As I lay in my bed,
Restless and all alone
Thoughts of you fill my head.

There's an ache in my heart
A longing for your touch
I feel an emptiness
For I miss you so much.

How I wish you were here
To share my joys and fears,
To hold me in your arms
And wipe away my tears.

But I know someday soon
Together we will be
Thoughts of you makes me smile
I see us, you and me!

Thoughts of you fill my heart
With all life's promises,
Together we will face
Its challenges and bliss.

Look therefore to that day
To all its verity
In love we will be one
Through all eternity!
