Do you ever just stop and think?
would it all be gone if I could just blink?
could I get away?
even for just a day

Maybe go to the beach
Or read a book under the trees
Maybe just take a ride in the car
Or stay up late and watch the stars

Do you think it's possible for this to be a dream?
because if it is my life has been rather mean
But there is one thing I wouldn't change...
And that would be you..

    It would be amazing to just get away from everything. If everything could change and you could do what you want and be with your love. I love the way you used simple things in this poem. It is really nice to enjoy the simple things in your life. Doing what you want to is the best part of life. :). I love the dream feel and wording here. You seem to want to change everything and the only thing you wouldn't chane is this person you love or your friend. :). I love the way you make thispperson shine as it shows how much you care.
