Beast In Chains

by frozen rose   Sep 22, 2013

The beast is trapped within a place
Within limited and restricted space
Leaving almost no room for escape
Once the beast breaks the chains, it can take any shape
Choosing the most menacing one of all
Your name the horrible creature calls
Drooling and spitting blood out on the ground
You search for and exit while you frantically look around
The chains are broken, your fate is clear
The end of your miserable life is near
Pinned to the ground beneath its weight
Victim to a crime that's now too late
No one can save you, you're already gone
Taken before the sky signals dawn
