What Is Being In Love?

by Nina Long   Oct 22, 2013

Love is provided unconditionally. No matter what that person has said or done, you will continue to love them no matter how badly they have hurt you because you care about that person. You know you love someone when they get to you. You have allowed that person to know you on levels no one else can. No one else can aggravate you the way they do, hurt you the way they do, make you laugh the way they do, make you smile the way they do, anger you the way they do. You care about this person more than anyone else. You would be willing to lay down your life for this person. You put their happiness before your own. You've accepted their likes and dislikes. You respect their beliefs. You've began to love everything about them, even if before you never liked someone that is the way they are. Love is accepting them for who they are. And you wouldn't do anything to change who they are because they are a great person. Even if there are things you don't like about him or her, you either grow to like it, or hope to God some way some how He will help that person resolve that issue in his or her life. Love is looking into that person's eyes and seeing a future with him/her. Each and every day you find new things to love about that person. Love is wanting to give this person yourself 100% without holding back. Love is doing everything in your might to not hurt this person. Love is waking up every morning either thinking about this person, or glad that you were able to wake up to their beautiful face. Love is a gift of God, and is the most precious gift in the world. And we shouldn't take it for granted once we have someone in our life who is willing to love us no matter what.
