Kindred spirits

Kindred Spirits

We are kindred spirits; we are to the grave.
The stars light up our darkness, as I see who you truly are.
The one I’ve always loved in my soul, but never a gesture made.
For this love is eternal
And its death can only be brought here in a lover’s embrace.

Love’s grave is not a place, for the condemned to see;
It will forever remind you of what happiness can be.
What does it feel like, when you feel?
I can no longer feel anything, inside this misery.

I am the forgotten sun, in the land of the dead hearts.
I am full of an endless love; it is written on my soul.
Mother Nature weeps, as another angel falls.
The death of love, is a natural death of a God.

The tombstone of love is heart shaped.
The gravestone of my heart? It’s a landscape.
For my heart is huge and it’s natural to fall in love;
But if your love for me should die…
Then it is here my heart shall be buried forever more.
