Is It Worth It?

Love is evil.
It causes pain and suffering.
It makes the heart so ill,
you don't want to get out of bed.
Love makes the happiest people
cry their eyes out.
The worst part is,
it makes you physically hurt,
though there are no physical symptoms.
But if you can make it through that
and find the right love,
it can be the best thing in the world.
Love can make your heart soar
and your soul sing.
It can make you smile
when all you wanna do is cry.
But is it worth it?
You have to go through
so much pain,
so much agony,
so many times.
Over and over and over again.
A seemingly unending cycle
of heartbreak,
until, maybe, you get that bliss.
It's not even guaranteed
that you'll get that magical bliss.
It is really all that worth it
or should I just give up?
