The Ambiguous Battle

by Twisted Angels Whispers   Jan 16, 2014

From love to hate,
From hate to war.
This tide will rise,
And crash ashore.
As he spots my ship,
The bell is rung.
Our cannons rise
This war's begun.
I swing around,
My engine purrs.
The first strike hits,
A blow for sure.
I hear the crew yell,
I hear them scream.
I look at him,
And my eyes beam.
The ocean is stirring,
And our ships grow nearer.
His blood is what I see,
And I can taste his fear.
With not a second to lose,
Another cannon blows.
Less mates on my ship,
Was only left to know.
He then puts up his flag,
He stares me down.
I stare at him back,
I want him to drown.
I blew another cannon,
Directly his way.
I wanted this to be,
His very last day.
What once was love,
Has changed it's form.
The burden shared,
That caused this storm.
