After All This Time

I still have all the pictures
and all the old poems,
I still remember how we used to be.

I still get lost in your gaze
and remember when we were close,
I still think you're my very own knight in shining armor.

I still long for your lips on mine
and feel my heart skip a beat whenever you smile at me,
I still wish for your arms around my waist.

I still smile every time I hear your melodic laughter
and feel butterflies in my stomach whenever we touch,
I still feel what I felt back then if not more now.

I still respond to those ridiculous nicknames you gave me
and remember all of them, too,
I still smile at any mention of you.

I still love your goofiness
and how you could make me smile when I was down,
I still roll my eyes at all the corny jokes you tell and blush at

the sweet ones.

I still think you're the greatest guy I've met
and don't know how you put up with me,
I still think you're sweetest, most amazing guy to steal my

heart.

I still love the way you smile at my insanity
and the way you help me through everything,
I still love the way you love me -
like I'm the only one you ever think about.
