A poem for mama

by Paul Abarugu   Jan 25, 2014

I look up to the sky,and wonder
How terrible my life would have been
Without the blessings of my mother.

As each day pass by with pains
Your prayers and blessings is like a great gain
Not minding the threats of tomorrow
With your blessings,i conquer all the sorrows

Your love is natural
Your kiss is unconditional
Your smiles is a sign of a better tomorrow
Your care is limitless

Compare to honey, you are the sweetest
Compare to gold, you are more precious
Compare to money, you are more valuable.

Your words in the past, rings in my head
No matter how slowly i move,i must surely
get to my destination
Say no to hurry in life
Say no to evil
Say no to bad fellows.

These i will always obey, just as life goes on.
