Is home still where the
heart is,
when it seems so far away?

Is home still where the
house is,
in which I used to stay?

Is home still where the
memories are, so happy
that they hurt?

Is home still where our
lives are, left behind
but still alert?

Is home still where the
birds sing, or where the
coyotes howl?

If I went back this
instant, would I recognize
it now?

Is home still where I
left my love, or has my
love left too?

If home is where the
heart is, then my home
is still with you.

    The rhyming was right on.
    The opening really caught me...

    I relate to this and can answer it with a yes, being in a long distance relationship I know where my home lies, with her. Beautiful description..

    I enjoyed how you asked a question after each stanza like you are trying to find the answers or see what others may feel and think when it comes to love.

    The ending really was strong..

    is still with you.

    Because this is so true with love. You did a fabulous job.
