The Starless Sky

When I look at the Starless Sky
I know your there
watching me
protecting me
I can see you in my mind
chasing anything away
you light my heart when I see you
you are the life among the dead
when the clock strikes twelve
I feel your presence at my side
your dark wings enfold me in a touch so light
I shiver as you wrap your arms around me,
I know I'm safe
