    You've penned this really well.
Loved the whole thing. It flows really nicely and the the rhymes work well. I don't usually like sonnets either.

Probably not the criticism you were looking for but i wouldn't change a thing to be honest.

I've often wondered the same thing when you see really old trees.

    Keep it up! 5/5

I am a fan of a well written sonnet and the question you ask at the beginning is great :). I think it really shows how in touch with nature this person is. The thought of asking a tree a question is very curious. And you make the reader think of something (at least for me). You would never think a tree as being wise or "old" but it kinda is true. As a former tree hugger I loved this.

Here I liked how you didn't pause too much. The flow of the poem was very lovely and it captures the readers attention. And as the other commenter stated I don't think you need to change anything here. Well done !

I loved the idea of talking with the trees.
I mean some of the trees near my house are very old. I guess, more than 150 years old. I am sure if they could talk they have a lot more to tell than our grandparents.

This Sonnet has been penned beautifully and it flows without any interruptions whatsoever. It makes me think too, what these old trees can teach us humans..loved the read :)
