Left with a tasteless feeling
A glimpse of you just crossed my mind
Torn from heartache and pain
That seems to get worse over time
Brushed by cold winds from being alone
The feeling of regret filters in
Trying my hardest to escape the thought
And the emptiness buried within

BREATHE....

Cornered in a room drowned in pity
With collapsing walls all around me
So many thoughts race through my mind
My heart beats deeper with each pounding
Lost without thought and feeling
A lifeless soul buried underneath debris
Suffocating from the trials of love
That somehow got the best of me

Tears pour out my eyes like waterfalls
Hyperventilating as if the air is thick
Different thoughts and emotions sway pass
Some are calm and some are erratic
Unsure on how to deal with this feeling
I can't imagine why she would leave
It's as if the sun was taken from the sky
And left me crying to my knees
