This is so truly penned from the heart and your wording is flawless. I really think to open the poem with grief, and anger, is very good because we have all been there, and although grief can be terribly sad, people forget the other elements of regret, anger, hope, and other things that come with it. I like how you said anger didn't have a voice, like it is there, but it does not matter that it is there, the pain probably over rules this right now. And also about waiting for the moment that won't arrive - this I take to be the first stage of grief, where we want what was, we want it back and go through denial that we cannot and never will have this back.

I love your middle stanza, where the reader can see the regret here, where the person has been fooled, and taken in for a fool in what they once believed was a good thing, but now it has proven to be a bad thing. I think the title blind heart sums this up pretty well.

I adore the ending of this poem, that battle of reality and of what we want to be true - how often do we put ourselves through this? you described it so well, no extra information , just what it is.

    I really love this poem.
    Well done.
