What I know about you

by Sammy   Jul 17, 2014

One of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen
Stood before me telling me what she thought of herself and why she did,
Telling me disturbing and terrible words that she used to describe herself.
I stood there listening to her until I couldn't take it anymore
"Stop!" I shouted at her. Stop telling me these lies about yourself,
Stop telling yourself these untruthful words that has got nothing to do with the you that I know............

She looked at me with tears in her eyes saying "Stop, stop telling me these lies"
I held her hands softly yet firm and I told her what I thought
I told her what I thought about her
I told her about how she's the most important person in my life
I told her without her I'd be nothing
I told her the truth

When I was finished she smiled at me
She said "Thank you"
I responded "No thank you...Thank you for being you

That's enchanting..somewhat like one narrative though. It's top notch to learn we're valued. Keep thinking and don't stop inking.. It's adorable you are here.
