A Harmful Mistake

I never meant
to fall in love with you.
But I did...

I fell head over heels for you
in a matter of weeks,
not noticing
until it was too late.

Now my heart is shattered
and I'm crying myself to sleep.
How foolish can I be?

    I like the fast pace of the poem, it matches your message in that you fell in love so quickly, and it never lasted.

    The poem could hold more detail, perhaps some metaphors or something to show your feelings, jus something that sticks in the reader's mind.

    But good job.
