I have to stop getting ahead of myself
When a woman says HELLO,
Just because she acknowledges me
Doesn't mean she is ready to go,

Desperation shows clear in the eyes
If I let it take the best of me,
Learning to control these feelings
Being a confident man that they see,

Although I look like the world is mine
While underneath I`m really scared,
With the fear of spending my life alone
Never having that Love shared,

Each day is a new adventure
Waiting to see who I may meet today,
Wondering if my time will come
And is she thinking the same way
