She

by Aaron L   Sep 13, 2014

With a heavy heart, I remember your half-way held back words, which were spoken with less remorse and regret than I needed to hear for the full understanding of your harsh intent. The lack of sympathy in your beautiful, yet broken voice was too heavily weighted, and too bitterly poignant for my already heavily overburdened shoulders to carry. The breathtaking, melodic strings of your biting vocal instrument of which you've used to condescend in simple words for my seeming lack of understanding--the words you express in such a nonchalant manner fell at once hard upon my tired mind, causing my irrational, personal, and internal madness to overflow beyond the fragile dam that is my emotional threshold. Yet, I will gladly deal with such madness--a damning burden--in silence, just to see your face; I'll carry the burden just to experience your unbelievably brilliant presence, if only for the briefest moment in time.
