Mama

I couldn't write a perfect poem for you
Nor offer you the most graceful dance
I couldn't make the lovely flowers bloom
Neither make the sun light your way.

If the heavy raindrops start falling
I have no power to make 'em stop
I couldn't turn dark clouds into blue
To brighten up your day.

Mama, no matter how hard I empathize
And help you bear burdens in your life
There could never be such a thing
That could equalize your sacrifice.

If there's a single thing that I can do
It is to keep loving you
No matter where my feet would bring me
No matter where my fate would lead me.
