The Terrifying Three Words

Emotions running rampant
and "I love you"s murmured
in the silence.

I know you're waiting
for me to return the sentiment,
but love comes with such a cost-
my strength,
my mind,
my soul.

Tell me,
how do I give that up
when I've only just gotten it back again?

    This is a beautiful piece, it shows just how shattered you are and yet just how much Reece means to you. I love the way you penned the emotion and the title is wonderful, it really catches the attention of a reader and is something everyone can understand.
