Not Alone (Day 2)

by WritingtheStars   Dec 3, 2014

I wanted you to know
that I noticed the faded scars
hidden under your long sleeves.

I saw the jagged lines
crisscrossing along your wrist,
before you hurriedly pulled the sleeve
to cover the marks.

I've noticed the way
your clothes that once fit
so nicely on your girlish curves
now hang loosely on your petite frame.

Perfection is what you crave,
to be able to fit into
those teeny tiny jeans,
to be beautiful.

It's okay not to be perfect,
my dear,
nobody truly is.

Maybe it's because I know how it feels,
but I noticed it all.
I'm sorry you feel alone in this world,
like everything is hopeless,
but I care and I'm here.

You don't have to be all alone,
not anymore.

Awhhhh. This is so dear. I bet it means so much to your friend to have a friend like you in her life, to want to be there for her through her trying times.

Killian this piece shows such atrength and hope that so many of your other pieces sort of lacked. You're trading places with austin and in some cases megan but I love this. Its sweet and hopeful, its honest and a great way of reaching out. If its one of our friends I know, give them hugs for me.

    Great great piece killian.
