My Soul Pants For Thee

by James Garrett   Dec 17, 2014

I fell as if I am wandering in a desert my love. So thirsty, panting 4 a cool drink of water. I see an oasis, far off in the distance with palm trees, a water fall and a beautiful multi colored canopy of a tent, fluttering in the breeze. I'm on my hands and knees now, knowing that if I reach it, I shall be able to quench my thirst.
As I look closer, you are that waterfall. My heart races, knowing my soul will be refreshed as I see u now starting to look my way. There is a smile on your face and it heightens my strength and desire to reach you, to lay in your pools of what I desire so longingly.
I have not reached you yet, but you are waving, and urging me to taste and let you wash off the sand and the sweat that Is over me. My hearts desire is so close but I must endure yet a little while until I reach you.
"As the hart panteth after the waters, so does my soul pant for thee."
