As If By Fait

by James Garrett   Jan 4, 2015

I met you by fate my special one,
Are the words that I heard yet to be sung?

We met, we loved and joined with our breath,
Is there a voice in the distance that might oppress?

I reflect on what is our destiny,
Shall our two souls unite presently?

We know that to act must take all our courage,
Let not one be in our way to discourage.

Are we ready to let go and replace the past?
If so then we shall meet at last.

I promise to show you if you will come,
A life time of joy that will remain unplumbed
We shall rest in the knowledge that, "Oh yes" we belong.

The choice is now yours,
Our future can be filled with many splendors.
