She went to the wrong staircase.

by floats   Jan 11, 2015

I was expecting her to my right, she was to my left.
She went the oppisite side, time was frozen.
I see her, it's amazing, this can't be true.
She's perfect. from her tiny ears to her tiny toes.
She had my heart since, "Hey, How are you?"
She fills my thoughts, I see the future.
"Wait where are you going?"
She went the wrong way... The pain is real.
Knowing I can never be close enough to hear her heartbeat again.
To have her golden hair in between my fingertips soft as a cloud.
Her smile, her laugh, everything about her. I can't have.
I stood in the rain hoping she would turn around.
She is gone and she wants to be gone.
Maybe if I offered her more or really showed I cared.
She wouldn't of taken the wrong staircase.
