Prayer for a Maiden

by Edward Oropeza   Jan 25, 2015

Lord, here I am
lonely and no one in mortality.
Out of the league of your
angels, lead me to the doorway
of your beautiful daughter.

Whose heart is gentle as yours,
an eyes as beautiful as your angels,
a fighting spirit as brave as a lion.

And If she is destined to one of your prince,
and the lowly maiden is left,
help me find her to reach my help.

Help me comfort and show her the beauty,
and if she's afflicted by brutality of the world,
help me find her confidence.

If time has reached my old age,
then I'm happy that she's not here,
but waiting in your kingdom for me.
