Corporeal

by sonya   Feb 12, 2015

Under a microscope,
I am boneless.
My heart strings connect,
Am I jointless?
My legs won't walk when
I decide to go.
Your body's marvelous,
Just so you know.
Corporeal, corporeal, corporeal.
When the knife cuts,
I forget things.
When he door's closed,
I can hear the rings
Of the house downstairs,
Where we used to chill.
Your blue eyes are cold,
Like the God within.
Corporeal, corporeal, corporeal.
