Flora

by Rascal   Feb 17, 2015

Nestled flat, she lay on the cold ground,
Like a star
Tangled hair rooted deep into the decay below, dew trickled down her soft creases
Recycling her salty tears beneath the shadow of her back.
As the sun began to reveal itself, her veins awakened turning upward
In one breathe she absorbed the veil of cool morning air that was settled about her like a blue-green aura.
The next breath, releasing her sweet smelling pollen, a gift to the wind.
