Why your heart beats

by Mathew Fouts   Feb 21, 2015

Gentle winds brush against my ear,
that carry your hymn telling me you are near
Soft and serene from the heavens above.
My Heart deciphering this language of Love.
This unspoken symphony composed by your Heart
Serenading my Soul even when were apart.
A breeze of destiny beckons the Soul.
A melody of Love neither control.
A masterpiece made in this summer heat.
As your Love starts to sing, my Heart plays the beat.
One that won't falter but sometimes skips,
with the feel of your touch, or kiss of your lips.
Love is a song, this is our duet.
The lyrics tattooed, so our Hearts won't forget.
This moment in Love, captured by time
entwining our body, soul and mind.
