Amethyst Night

End of the day
Is here;
A purple crescent moon
Appears,
On this amethyst night..
And its rays of light,
Illuminate the sea below.
They pierce the thick haze
And bring forth tidal waves
That enter the shore,
Radiating a soft glow.
