Turning back

by aniD   Mar 15, 2015

Deep hallow of emptiness
echoed in the vision of my lens
as i drop a string of memories
where you and i used to dwell in the same place.

you became me
and i became you

i color your cheeks red
paint a smile on your lips

i love you
and you love me too..

but still

a
deep hallow of emptiness
echoed in the vision of my lens
as i drop a string of memories
where you and i used to dwell in the same place.

This is lovely but sad. When things don't work out it always gives us doubts about ourselves, I think you portrayed this well.

Where you and i used to dwell in same place

The only thing I can think of is that this line is missing 'the' between in and same.

I do like how the first and last stanzas are repeated though as it shows the vicious cycle love can become.
