Made of Dreams

by Rare Bird   Mar 16, 2015

He walked alone at night,
Towards the land of dreams,
And saw a tunnel of light,
With warm, purple beams,

He felt carried therein,
By an obscure force,
But felt peace within,
And closer to the source,

It was a seat in heaven,
He could fit and belong,
He could count them seven,
Angels singing a song,

And there he saw her face,
Which has grazed his soul,
It touched him in a place,
Streaming into his all,

It went like he knew,
That soul in a former life,
Can't be just someone new,
She could have been his wife,

They laughed, and had a walk,
And built a castle of sand,
But then he was awoke,
Back to reality land,

It's not the end, oh no,
If some dream is gone,
Something nice must go,
To have a nicer one,
