Faithless

by Daniel Blake   Apr 23, 2015

In my slumber palace
She was in a shaded corner
Her back against the wall
Pressed against forcefully

I tried to search for her eyes
Dare I disturb her tongue
Which was locked behind slimy barrier

Her turquoise lights sealed
Her petit figure savaged
A smile upon those lips
I could never give her what
This man was providing
The sky turned crimson
I wake

Under a cotton blanket
A stay away from home
I could never give her what
This young man provided
When I'm away from home
