Pestilent Darkness

by Rob   Aug 10, 2015

Shadows of evil lurk in the sad mind,
Pestilent darkness commences its reign,
Abandoned in this abyss of an oppressed world,
And not one of them recognized the intangible pain...

His soul is possessed and his contemplation controlled,
This could be seen if you gazed in his eyes,
Darkened by a society that chose to ignore,
He strangled her in a moment of rage and she died...

Depression and psychosis were his way of life,
The only life that he had ever known,
And if only you could have read the thoughts in his head,
They would chill you to death and then straight to the bone...

The realm in his mind is so dark and so cold,
A void filled with all that you dread,
Twisted thoughts bring back all the memories,
And all the things he did until she was dead...

Grieving cries decimate an imperishable soul,
Retribution is not something they seek,
An inherent expression of the hostility and pain,
Caught in the middle of damnation they began to beseech...

A postdictive perceptual phenomena occurs,
Whereas the imminent danger signs were ignored,
Society voices strong opinions of condemnation
In a final attempt to have their sanity restored...

Imprisoned for life at his youthful age.
In a place where forever he'll dwell,
In the darkness of confinement and loneliness,
All by himself in a permanent cell...

Now she lays dormant in a small wooden box,
Where she will solemnly eternally sleep,
Her smile and youth destroyed by the one,
And she now will forever, rest in peace...
