World of Colors

by Maricris   Sep 23, 2015

Imagine the world
Without colors; gloom
Dry, dull
Dead and doom.

Colors are created
For all of us to see
Endless horizon
And the deep blue sea.

Green trees, blooming flowers
Birds in the sky
Fishes under the water
Even the shimmering golden sunset, oh my!

I love lots of colors
My summer dress would be yellow
Dashing, glamorous
Shoulders aglow.

Colors make us happy
Like red apples, lips of a baby
And the sparkling lights around the Christmas tree
Family surrounds singing, cheering merrily.
