Our Little Paradise

Our Little Paradise

You came to me in a golden dream
With a glowing flow, of a mountain stream
You lift my soul way beyond the skies
For to see the beauty of your eyes

I knew one day you would come my way
I will bring you a white horse, to carry you away
And take you to the rainbows end
For I'm no stranger, I'm your friend

So let our imagination fly
To some other sunny sky
In search of paradise, for eternity to stay
In our beautiful island hideaway

As we lay upon the golden sands
On this most picturesque of lands
Where the waves crash silently, upon the shore
Who could ever ask for more

And when the night comes, and you relax with me
I'll take you in my arms, as we stand beside a tree
To pledge my love to you, by carving out your name
And forever there, for eternity to remain

Still warm from the evening sun, we sit upon the sand
And stare up at the stars, as I place a ring upon your hand
For the stars they glisten, and spell out your name
For Heaven and Earth they become one, but the same

The sweet taste of your lips on mine
Your eyes that sparkle like diamonds, so divine
You must believe you hold the key
That opens up my heart, which I give to thee
