The Breakup

by Prince Enigma   Jul 7, 2004

Since I'm not allowed to fall in love,
I must make the most of...
Anyways let me begin...
Remember this is not a sin...

I stare into the starless night,
Knowingly I will be alone tonight,
Chanting the song...
Is this right or wrong?

Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight...
We are both going to be in a lot of pain,
But just let me try explain.

She taps me on the back,
I suffer a huge anxiety attack,
"What are you doing here?"
"I thought I made it clear,"
"My love for you isn't real,"
"Then why do I feel..."

"I didn't know,"
"Please just go..."
"Why are you crying?"
"Your not even trying..."
"Then what was our first kiss for?"
"It was something I always wanted to do before."

"Why not give us a chance?"
"I don't need romance..."
"Honey you are just being silly"
"Really?"
"Why did you just do that?"
"I just wanted to chat..."

"Nothing can fix this..."
"I'm going to miss..."
"I must say goodbye..."
"But why?"
I walked away...
I didn't know what to say.

Next day she was gone,
From dusk till dawn...
You died that night,
I was in delirium not delight.
I hope I made the right choice,
Maybe I can rejoice...

One sad truth I found,
Now that I know I'm on the rebound.
Without contest...
I hurt the one who loved me the best.

LoL, I wouldn't do something like that. All my poems aren't real :) Just part of my crazy imagination.
