Disguised

by Beautiful Chaos   Nov 28, 2015

I was this
You were that
We were nothing
Nothing good

Resentment
Anger on the verge of hatred
Scars on the soul of my humanity
A heart soaked in pain

I was full of this
You were full of that
Yet both of us were empty
Both of us, cold

I died
Drowned in blood and tears
And you
You swam in my sea

You drank my anguish
It gave you strength
Stroked your ego
In your head you were the hero

But you saved nothing
Not even yourself
You were sweet destruction
Disguised as love
