That Dance Hall

by littleone   Jan 20, 2016

Those lights above that shine so bright at night
They glimmer and sparkle like burning stars in the sky
The glow high up makes everything alright
When I'm there I'll never wave goodbye

That country music is what I love so much
They play for hours but it never seems enough
It makes me feel like I've never lost my touch
I don't ever seem to sweat the small stuff

Dancing there makes me feel like I'm on cloud nine
But dancing with him always makes me glad
I never go and not see what should be mine
Every time we go he wears orange plaid

It's that old hall I owe my smile to
Because in that hall is where I fell for you
