    "Only when the eyes are dead do you understand the books you never read"

    That is actually a wonderful line!

    The poem reads almost like an ode to the eyes and is full of truth and philosophy.

    Woe. I love this. I can imagine for some reason being outside of myself after dying because of some of these lines.
    You write really well.
    My favourite line is..
